It is very obvious that media is the central communication tools of our time. An average American adult views nearly sixty films a year, listens to the radio sixty hours per month, spends roughly ten hours a week on the web, and watches television more than four hours a day.

Yet despite the degree to which media shapes our daily lives, documentary film production financing still proves to be a hurdle most are unable to overcome, which has caused a shortage of quality documentary films.

No matter how reluctant the major studios are willing to admit it, the demand for quality feature documentaries is higher then ever and in the near future could very well be higher then the fictional features currently dominating the cinema screens. We can take a note from TV where viewer audiences are higher then ever due to reality shows.

OWP Film Productions have established various film financing programs and have initiated methods to insure all hurdles have been noted and solved before we even release the idea. It does not matter if we are producing a short or feature, you are certain the quality and creativity as well as the visual impact and audience value will be more then expected.

Furthermore, through extensive experience, true professionalism, unequalled quality, ingenious creativity and highly selective subjects, as well as our full international staff of representatives, sales staff and distribution channels, we are able to show direct methods to investors that can insure a high return on their investment, a rarity in the documentary film industry.

Why do people invest in entertainment projects?
The answer depends on the individual customer. Some people are drawn to the idea of supporting projects by their favorite directors or starring their favorite actors. But ultimately, most people hope to profit by identifying and investing in projects that will find acceptance in the marketplace

How will the finished projects be sold and distributed?
We have output deals in place with various distributors, film festivals, cinema houses and more. A film project's distribution strategy will be detailed in each films detail sheet.
How long does it take for a film to generate returns?
Depending upon the success of the project and the speed in which it is produced, a film might generate returns as early as six months after financing. However, it would not be unusual for two years or more to pass before a project sees a significant return. Many factors come into play including the length of the production schedule, the availability of talent and the seasonal cycles of distribution patterns.

Do investors get dividends?
